Vegetable Gardening With Under 1000 Plants

The best thing to do when planning your own apartment gardening with under 1000 plants is to use something that you don’t mind seeing inside of your apartment. I live in a dorm room, so my apartment gardening with under 1000 plants is mostly weeds. I like small things like cacti and succulents as they give off little smells that I don’t detect. They add a little something to the apartment that keeps you smelling fresh and gives you the feeling that you are part of nature in a place full of concrete and brick. Keep in mind that the goal is to create an apartment that you feel good in, not one that you would want to go home to.

There are several options for apartment gardening with under 1000 plants. I started out using plastic plant pots that were about the same size as the plants I wanted to grow. I planted everything on top of these pots and viola! My apartment smells great, my plants are healthy, and I have extra space.

Other plants that work well with this method of apartment gardening are perennials such as hydrangeas or even a vegetable garden. The idea is to layer the pots and keep them moist. You want to start planting them about a week or two before the last frost. Once you have them planted, you just water them every other day. Some plants like lettuce can be strung in through the holes left in the ground to reach the light source in the windows.

Another thing I like about apartment gardening with under 1000 plants is that I don’t have to buy anything for a few weeks until the plants start to bloom. The worst case scenario is having to run out to the store to pick up a pot or something like that. Most people want to start plants right after they move in, but I prefer to let them bloom for a little while longer so that I have time to take care of them properly when they come into the apartment. One plant usually blooms in just two weeks from being planted. Other plants like clematis and chrysanthemums don’t usually bloom until the end of July or the first week of August in my apartment. If you want to know when your favorite plants will be coming into your apartment, you just need to look for the sign in the kitchen.

There is nothing worse than apartment living when all you have are gray, plastic plants growing in the cracks and crevices of your apartment. They just look old and dirty and that is not a good impression to make on your visitors. When growing plants in containers, you can decorate them all you want. If you have a live plant in your apartment, that is even better since you can add some fake leaves and other accessories to it like fake flowers. Fake plants can really add to the “old” look of your apartment.

Some people just don’t have room for plants and that is perfectly fine too. You can grow your vegetables indoors if you have the right equipment. You can purchase a hydroponic system at any department store and it’s pretty cheap. All you need to do is learn how to set it up and you’re off.

Growing vegetables with under 1000 plants is a fun and easy hobby to get into. It’s great for summer and you can save money by doing it in your apartment. It can also be a temporary hobby that you turn into a year round thing. With your apartment gardening with under 1000 plants, you can have lots of fun and not spend as much money.
